Repurposing. Prints captured for a Mother several moons back.

These portraits are all displayed large in their home already, variously in colour and black and white.

As stick-twirler and barrow girl have grown several inches since these simple gallivanting garden moments were captured in camera, I re-packaged them with a zing, pop of vibrance for a fresh view.

It sent me down something of a rabbit hole. I then twisted some colour into shots of my own family as I liked the effect so much; a couple of portraits taken as competition entries back in the day. They didn’t win any prizes though I’m grateful for the moment now, nonetheless, and glad I asked them both to sit for me.

Wow, how these young children I’ve known since their Earthly welcome have changed in the just four years since they sat for the portraits.
